From Depression to Joy

Enter the Battle for Mental Well-Being
Michelle Wrigley
Lies I once believed.
  • I’m not depressed, just feeling a little blue.
  • I must not be a “good” Christian if I feel this way.
  • If I had more faith or loved Jesus more, I wouldn’t be so anxious all the time.
Truth that set me on the path to healing.
  • I am depressed and anxious.
  • That doesn’t make me a bad person or a bad Christian.
  • Jesus loves me and will help me find my way back to a healthy place emotionally and mentally.
Pivotal Decisions.
  • I will open my eyes to the spiritual battle raging within me.
  • I will surrender to Jesus’ plan for my healing, even when I don’t understand.
  • I will allow God to open the wounds of my past mistakes, traumas, and pain and trust Him in His healing work.

Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. Psalm 86:4 (ESV)

There is hope in the darkness. Hope in the sunrise. Hope in the battle. Sometimes, we just need to be reminded that we aren’t alone.

Jesus loves you. He sent me to tell you that. Jesus love YOU.
